Have any of you heard of IRs who are recruiting "professional" telecom salespeople to convert from direct sales over to Excel? Even the best telco sales reps may find that the jerking around they get from the major telcos is not as lucrative as what they could achieve with after a few months or a year with ECI - and they would be their own boss. They would have the security of a billion dollar company that has shown that it is committed to its IRs, even at the sake of short-term profits.
