Bio, that link to the Bio Fund ... just read the opening message ... looks really good.

Sturza ... ran across a site for him ... includes some samples of his newsletter ... perhaps you've seen it sturzas.com

I'm wondering what qualifications a person must have (if any) to
"analyze" biotechnology companies. Are McCamant, Murphy and
Sturza MD's or PhD's? Can just anybody write a newsletter and claim to be an analyst (expert) in biotechnology? I heard that Sturza, for one, is only a journalist with no medical /scientific background at all! In fact, I think he was a writer for a magazine before he started analyzing biotech companies. Are these people affiliated with any brokerage firm? They all seem to have pretty poor track records. It's a wonder anybody listens to them at all!

Dear Mr. Pseudo Biologist:

This is in response to your message of March 20 whereby you recommend reading Sturza's newsletter, etc., for advice on investing in Biotech. What qualifications do Sturza, McCamant and Murphy have? Are they MD's or PhD's? Are they analysts? " If so, which firm are they associated with? Sturza was a writer for a magazine before he began "analyzing" biotech companies. Who listens to them and why? They all seem to have bad track records, especially Sturza. You say you've heard "good things" about him? Wasn't he recommending shorting Organogenesis? What is his position now, I wonder.
