Papaya - if it is Nasdaq stock, a narrow trading range with heavy volume could mean a lot of things. One needs a level II to find out if it is MM reshuffling. However, those in the know typically buy at the close in hope of further upside move like a gap up the next day. It means the mo-mo money is there and intact. Lighter daytraders typically unload towards the end of the day, IMO. We have seen several heavy up volume in the drillers the past few days. If that is a trend, we know the trend is still up.
