Mike, I also like it when my power switch was stuck in the off position and Compaq told me that I should try to push it in a couple of times and then release it quickly to see if I could get it to work. Duh, never would have thought of that. However, Prodigy has the all-time great cop-out. Whenever I cannot connect because they are screwed up, I get a message to check to see if my modem is turned on, if the wires are connected properly and about 10 other things dealing with my box. Not even a mention of the fact that their access number might be down for service, which turns out to be the case every time I call in and bitch. -g- MB
