Another flavor for JAVA - note MSFT agreeing to use HP's JAVA - talk about trying to wreck the original Java bandwagon:

At this point, all reports are that HP's jvm is fully compliant with Sun's spec. Of course we won't know for sure until the product ships.

As long as it matches the spec, a second source for java can only help the market.
