I've been reading the messages on the Yahoo thread--there seems to be some concern about insider selling at these prices. Anybody have an opinion or can you give me some insight? Jan

Trofala,

Aren't we being a little presumptuous to believe that RNTK's technology would have a drastic impact on TX's stock price?? While I admit that TX announcing an agreement with RNTK would do wonder's for our stock, I kinda doubt the street is factoring in a technology which will probably not impact the bottom line for several years.

TX and other oil stocks are climbing on the belief that OPEC might pull their heads outta their *sses and come to an agreement on production quotas. The lower the price of oil goes, the more incentive individual producers have to "cheat" on their quotas in order to maintain their revenue stream of foreign cash. The more they pump, the lower the prices go and the more cheating that occurs.

So with the OPEC meeting, the market believes that oil producers are beginning to once again see the folly of their attempts to undercut the aggressive efforts by global oil exploration by bringing oil prices to a non-economic level for further exploration.

RNTK is certainly not driving TX's price by any means.

JMHO

Regards,

Ron
