re: DELL factory tour.

Today I sent the following e-mail. Will let everyone know upon receipt of response.

Subject: Dell Factory Tour

Date: Fri, 20 Mar 1998 14:38:40 -0600

From: J B Nabors III <naborsjbiii@sprintmail.com>

To: Investor Relations Fulfillment <Investor_Relations_Fulfillment@dell.com>

Dear Barbara,

On 24 February, I emailed you in regards to a tentative Dell factory
tour I was trying to organize in conjunction with the 1998 annual
shareholders' meeting. Since then, I have received confirmation from 23 individuals from three differenct countries who would like to
participate on such a tour, so I would like to proceed with the
organizational phase.

Specifically, I would like to schedule a tour of one of the DELL
factory's on Thursday July 16 at a time most convenient to you. We would like to tour the notebook or laptop factories, but will be happy to tour any of your sites. The group would consist of 25-30 Dell shareholders from all over the US, Canada, and The Netherlands. If possible, we would also like a meeting with some of Dell management. We understand that this may be a difficult time for you, as you will have your hands full preparing for the shareholders meeting. Nevertheless, most of the participants are traveling a very long distance to be present at the meeting, and would like to seize the opportunity to actually visit a production facility.

If at all possible, I would appreciate an initial decision as to whether our proposal is even feasible, as the participants need to make hotel and flight reservations soon. I can provide you a tentative list of attendees if you need one.

I will be out of town this next week, but you can email a response or
leave a message at 254 542-4663.

Together in DELL,

J. Bachman Nabors, III
