Last Friday he said that the Japanese fiscal year ends March 31, 1998 and the Japanese govt. was trying to prop up the market to 18,000 so the equities carried as assets on the balance sheets would look better. He said he was considering "selling" Japan when that happened. I don't think he is long so I take it to mean that he would probably short it.

Friday, Jim also said that worldwide money supply is expanding at the fastest rate in recorded history.
