Took a look at shorting QGENF through a Put this morning but see it still climbing past $76 1/2 at noonhour! Anyone think it will hit the $80s before falling?

I agree that the financials and projected earnings for l999 do not support these prices and it "should" fall back below $60 at some point.

No, but I think I noticed some sort of analyst change recently.

Squetch, on <<Do you follow LJL BIOSYSTEMS? >> I do not, but isn't this an Aurora-like outfit that just went public? A company that went public just a bit after, and that I find a lot more interesting, is CuraGen. Has been compared with Millennium. The IPO price was 11 and is trading a bit above. A company that went public about a year ago, then tanked in April well below the IPO price, was Coulter Pharm. Does history repeat itself, even across the apple-orange barrier?

Andy, it is my role to be negative when the MP flies, and the reverse -g- Or, don't blame me, take it up with the editors of Nature Biotechnology.
