Priscilla,

I am just now setting up an account with National Discount Brokers. I got the reference from CherylOD. It's at ndb.com. Since Cheryl uses them I considered it a good reference although I haven't yet done any trades. Sent in my application and $$ this week.

PHarris,

I use Waterhouse to trade online. 12.00 per transaction up to
5k. Above that it costs a penny per share, i.e. two 5k transactions
would be 24.00 but one 10k transaction is 100.00. However, I'm
told if you want very large blocks - 100K, they will work with you
on pricing. This is not a recommendation for Waterhouse. They are
Ok, but I'm not into giving recommendations unless I am astounded
with performance, which I am not with Waterhouse. They are usually
very slow in the mornings and during peak market activity times.

Kevin

Priscilla,

I use National Discount Brokers. Prices are reasonable and service is usually quite good. They are located at ndb.com.
