jtechkid, 26 people on this thread think AMAT will go lower
this year. That's 26 of 26 surveyed.
The lowest is 20, the average is 27. This in response to...
>i think it funny that lot of people i hear say all the
bad news is already built into these techstocks.

Kid,

Re:< hey. I'm a long term bull but i rather buy amat at 23-24 then 35 -38. <
I agree completely. Buy low, sell high is the number 1 rule of
investing and making money via the stock market. Your philosophy is
much like mine. I look for sales and excellent value, even so
the market is irrational, at best. What looks apparent often has
distinctive subtleties that undermine or overwhelm the value the
market puts on a stock.
Something that disturbs me greatly is the very low volumes. If the
funds were truly bullish on the stock they would be buying heavily
at these prices if they were bargains. They are not buying heavily
therefore it appears that in reality the big houses and funds are
not comfortable with the current valuation in the current market
conditions and are not investing. This non-support by the
big guys is very negative to me. If the stock were worth more at
this time it would be supporting a higher price in this very
lofty bull market. The analysts are particularly quiet also, I find
this also a negative. They don't want to be wrong and yelling
"charge" if there is a high likelihood that they will be running
thru market conditions laden with potential mines.

Regards,
BB
