thanks for the info. the drop and then string of upgrades makes me wonder. lots of buy orders were placed for market this morning, but then it fizzed out. the theory someone posted about the meeting with analysts is a good one. i had been getting quite comfy selling my altr at 43 and buying it back at 40 (lather rinse repeat), but got greedy this time around, and so here i am holding the bag at 38.5. (i think i'm gonna start an ira to take advantage of this price) does anyone have data on when and how altr normally preannounces when they preannounce? before the market, and as a direct press release, correct? how far before earnings? thanks in advance...
