We had many such wonderful adventures during our few days at Sugar Bay; of course, you know it takes little to constitute an event for me. There was the scuba adventure-when I tightened my mask too tight and we dove to 60 feet, and my eyes began to explode. Very painful. And there was the cigar-smoking adventure, when we all sat around on a balcony after dinner and smoked a 10.00 cigar, and Ammo and I got sick, a family memory he'll never forget. And there was the karaoke adventure, when CW got up and sang Hotel California by the Eagles and then I got up and did Send in the Clowns and even shy Ammo got up and sang Day-O with a group of guys. No-Dan did not get up-although by the end of the evening we'd had enough to drink that he and I were going to do< I Got You Babe only this other couple beat us to it and they were really bad. What a loss for the audience. And there was the romantic sunset cruise that Dan and I took, leaving the boys behind. The ocean was pretty rough but they decided to sail anyway, so we boarded, me in my sexy little black sundress with my hair all nice and make-up on (well, it was supposed to be a romantic sunset cruise)and we sat in the prow (or is it bow?) and we're holding hands and gazing at this incredible sky and suddenly we hit this monster wave and I'm thinking, "My God! It's Titanic Redux" as I'm flattened to the deck. Captain Ron laughs and tosses us some towels and they kept giving us Rum Punches so it wasn't too bad. All the Captains on all the trips we took looked like Captain Ron. It must be part of the licensing requirements--gorgeous tan, long, sun-streaked blonde hair, piercing blue eyes. Cloning, maybe? An Island secret. Then in Miami we have a three hour delay because of weather and I bought this book about a serial killer who finds his victim on the Internet!!!!
It was a great vacation.
