Cheer up, stephen. market always up and down. These are just those down days. One day, we will make 100%, 200%, or even 1000% of returns.

Less than a year ago, when Compaq management said that they could double their revenue by the year 2000, did they say that with the DEC acquisition in mind? If so, they weren't being very honest about the implications of their statement when the public knew nothing about the deal.

Any comments from anyone appreciated.

Stephen - I remember a post I did to Mohan Marette some time ago, we were talking about the market and I said to him that lately I enjoyed it best when it was closed <ggg>. When things turn, all the funds will rush back in, so it could be quick, time will tell. As for 15 bucks, subtract out cash and tax loss advantages with DEC and you could say it was a 10 dollar stock. Hard to imagine, I mean last I checked this company was still the largest PC maker, and more importantly, the server market leader. That said, glad it's Friday....
