I believe they did this because this was the first Pentium MMX CPU in
their new .25um process. This moving to .25um technology probably
required some changes to the .35um artwork (more than just a shrink?).
Seems reasonable that Intel might rename it ... why does this bother
you so much ?? You aren't "hooked" on Bert's cheap coffee ... are you ??
