Following BAY's example from earlier this week, ASND should preannounce a disappointing quarter and simultaneously state that
the next quarter looks quite good. A big risk however is does the CEO
of ASND have the same level of credibility as the CEO of BAY ?

>> I for one am not convinced that just making this quarter will do anything to the price of the stock. On the other hand, missing by even a little (I don't want to think about it). With the action of the past few days, one has to ask is there more short term downside than upside?<<

It's Okay for other companies to miss a little, but if ASND misses it will get killed. From the action in past few days, it seems ASND has strong support around 32. If ASND is not getting caught in a general market correction (or profit-taking, whatever you want call it) and everyone believes it will make the quarter, we should see it rise again from Monday and we might get to 35 or a little above again before the earning release.

Here is how I feel: I loaded up on June 30 calls today, using the profits from my sale a while back of my March 25 calls (got 10 bucks). I also bought more stock today at around 10:30 a.m. :o) pete
