A research analyst from Accumen Capital made some positive buy comments on ASL on NBN Business News Thursday night

Bobby - the buying was probably due to an analyst from Acumen Capital on CBC Newsworld on Thursday night last week. Spoke for about 30 seconds - "ASL trades below book value, good earnings from last year, should be better earnings this year, heavy exposure to natural gas sector". etc.

Trading has continued this morning as well.

Should be releasing 1997 yearend numbers on March 31.
