Rocket, a number of the tombstone companies got bought out. I guess it's up to the article's authors to decide if they "married well" or not. Immunex or Genentech clearly did; Cetus was more like "merger or else." Why they put Genetic Systems in the ring category puzzles me, but my knowledge of the outfit comes mostly from the very unflattering "Gene Dreams" - so I could be off here. Founder stock does not count. I imagine that the factor would be a lot higher for people who got such in Amgen, 500X, 2000X? PB
