I was under the impression that DSL would work on standard phone lines instead of fibre....BellSouth is only now capable of spelling ISDN much less DSL. Nonetheless, if DISH can beat the others out of the gate with Internet services they will instantly be ahead of all of the other cable providers. I believe that cable only offers internet in sporadic areas across the country. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The DirectTV offering, DirectPC, is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE that last I saw. Carter
