stephen, thanks for the link. Mark and many others believe the PC is quickly becoming a commodity. I think this is way out there in the future. Even if (when) this does happen, companies will still make big money selling them. Televisions and hundreds of other technological gadgets are commodities now and the companies that are well-positioned in their industries continue to make tons of money. When and if the PC becomes a commodity CPQ will be the best positioned company in the PC industry. The acquisition of DEC makes this even more so.
