Hi Don, nothing is a sure bet, and like I said, painting a picture of the future and hanging to it rigidly is dangerous. However, given the overwhelming evidence, I believe I will be able to make my case before this court in the next several weeks -g- I just got back from my local coin dealer, who writes an article for Women in Numismatics. The title of her latest article is "The Sleeping Giant" I don't think she'll mind me paraphrasing some of it: <snip> The ancient civilizations, such as the Egyptians and Hebrew cultures used gold for personal ornamentation and precious religious artifacts, like the gold mask of King Tut or the Ark of the Covenant. The Golden Rule and the many references throughout the Bible of gold being precious have given gold a higher ranking than other metals. <snip> In the first book of the Bible, we are instructed in the Book of Genesis, that the wealth of Abraham was in gold, silver and cattle. This is how the Lord God physically blessed Abraham. <snip> A few years back, when the world banking system went off the gold standard Pandora's box was opened. <snip> More men have been killed in the battle for gold and territory than for any other cause. Gold, unfortunately, makes our human blood boil. Look at the California and Alaskan gold rushes and the historical accounts of the "Rush Mania" This quest for gold, I think, must be found in our DNA. We also notice that athletes and contestants traditionally receive gold medals, gold cups and gold coinage. <snip> Gold has been asleep for more than a decade. If cycles repeat, a sleeping giant is about to awaken. end _______________________________________________________________ My time frame for the awakening of Goldzilla is May 1998. This country was founded on Biblical Principles and the gold standard was one of those principles. The Continental Congress got on their knees and prayed to God for guidance in their pursuit to build a new country free of tyranny and with the promise of fairness to all. Today our forefathers role over in their graves as those promises have become empty words and the foundation has become like sand. It's time reach reach back to our roots and if we can't convince our country of the dire importance of this we must convince one man and one woman at a time. end of sermonette -g- "Go for the Gold" bobby
