Hi Raefon, You have noted and asked: "Okay Noblesse, you're telling me that the Electrical Equipment index almost tripled 12/92-12/97 (158.22to450.35), the S&P Smallcap index almost doubled(118.79-223.98), and TFS has actually DECLINED in the same period 12/92-12/97???? Hmmmm." Well Raefon, I didn't independently verify what TFS printed in the proxy materials, but assuming they did the work properly, it would appear that you are right on the money. So, shareholders of this company haven't made a dime in the largest bull market in our nation's history. Lots of questions and comments come to mind, Mr. Raefon, but I am going to take a pass. Considering all that it is possible I might say, my reticence might be seen as "politically correct." If so, it would be the first time. <guffaws> Anyway, considering the topicality of the subject, maybe Mr. Buchanan will take note of this during the conference call coming up in a couple of weeks. I guess it is up to senior management to explain to the shareholders why it hasn't built any value in the last five years, as well as how it intends to acquire for us at least an *average* market valuation based on "Street" consensus estimates for 1998. If it can do so, it may well be that all of us will be happier about the decisions we made regarding the authorization of various senior manager stock options. Anyway, in light of the sub-par performance turned in for an entire market cycle, one would think that the owners of the business should be entitled to an explanation. I only hope that we get a conference call like the most recent one...which was a quality effort...rather than a compilation of statements that crushed us in the previous try. Have a good evening.
