Off topic...... Three people, some of whom are aware of the DEPO disaster, sent me private e-mails basically saying, "you started this ADVH thread--what do you think about the current situation?". Hence the public posting. I lost $720,000 in one day on DEPO and am now about $160,000 in debt. (I had been a couple hundred thousand ahead on the market last year, before DEPO--thought I was _good_ at investing) If you are angry at me, I can't fault you. My whole life has changed. I used to coordinate/finance/participate with a dozen doctors who volunteered in homeless shelters in my city. I had to stop all of that. :>( I am in private practice full-time now, working 12-14 hour days, making lots of money, giving all of myself that I can to the worried well in suburbia (who also need caring physicians). But life is full of unexpected blessings and surprises. It is amazing to learn how people treat you when you fail in a major way. Meanwhile, I made $36,000 on ADVH last year. The first-call estimates for each of the last four quarters were 4c, 7c, 14c and 23 cents. The actual earnings were 8c, 14c, 21c and 34 cents. From personal experience and consulting research, imho, global risk contracting is more lucrative than most people realize. That is the basis for my thought that ADVH is a good investment opportunity. I have no special knowledge of the present "controversy" of the past few days. Please take any recommendation I make with a grain of salt. Clearly I was wrong about DEPO. And I don't plan to post on this thread again until I own the stock. Best Regards, Tom D
