All (mostly):

I've been wondering lately, because I'm not sure I know or remember, what is blasphemy exactly? I've seen this is blasphemy or that is blasphemy, but what exactly qualifies what as blasphemy? Examples would also be nice.

And,

and what do those of you think Hell is and what will happen to the soul once one is sent there should this undesirable fate become an eternal reality.

I posted this to Jane because I like Jane for better or worse, preferably better. Of course it didn't hurt that she was also the last poster at the time.

Jane,
I have always enjoyed Kurt Vonneguts writing. It has been some time but in my teens and twenties I read everything he wrote several times. "Slaughterhouse Five" was among my favorite. The movie was good but I preferred the book. There are many observations from his writings come to be during every day life, second only to Bill Cosby <g>. (Before anyone asks I also often remember observations from lessons from my Pastors).

I want to thank you for that story about Sabina. She sounds like a fascinating person. As I said in an earlier post there were many Germans who were involved in horrible acts and groups and lived to see the folly and repent. We are all frail and fallible but possess the ability to redeem ourselves and become examples of God's love and compassion.
