Yeadon,

About a year ago, there was a lot of hoopla from RBOCs saying that people were tying up switches by staying connected to the Internet for hours on end. It raised quite a stir at the time because the RBOCs said they needed to raise rates to build up their infrastructure so they could deal with the problem. They said the problem was so serious that it threatened the entire voice phone system and that people wouldn't be able to get through to 911 for emergencies or make voice calls.

DSC came on the scene with the Internet Cutter product which they claimed would be a big seller. I'm just curious if you know why they haven't been able to sell one yet? Is it because a competitor has a better product, or because this isn't really a problem and the RBOCs were just using it as an excuse to get regulators to approve their request for a rate hike, or are the RBOCs dealing with the problem in another way? Thanks, I sincerely appreciate any insight you have into this.

Dan
