"Gabriela, I think 6000 on the Dow is a good target for downside risk this year, with
the major downturn occurring in October. There are some interesting parallels to 1987
which are starting to occur ie. the huge and increasing trade deficit numbers is one.
Now if the price of gold starts to climb and the Federal Reserve raises interest rates
that will be two more parallels and things will get very interesting."

I agree with this prediction. There must be a start of interest rates hikes to initiate a major
DOW correction or a crash.
Is there such things like PUTS and CALLS in S&P 500. Much safer way to play. Full blown
S&P position about 30K can clean you in no time if you are wrong.
I shorted one mini S&P position last October one bay before it went 50 points down and additional 15 points overnight. No doubt this was a fluke. By many accounts FEDS stepped in next morning and in a matter of minutes it was reversed. Big market tempering.
