Even if DELL hiccups, its stock price may not. I say this because of my experience with MU. MU has consistently reported lower earnings and loss last quarter, but its stock price has stayed. There are many theories for that. One is that Institutions and funds are holding huge blocks of Mu and wil not let the price drop even though S&P downgraded its credit rating last week. ANd there are even rumors that MU may head towards Chapter 11 in the next 2 quarters.

There is also a huge short position in MU and the fear is that the price of Mu will be raised so high as to scare the shorts as well as get them on margin calls while the funds unload slowly.

Are you concerned that the same might happen with DELL's stock price ??
