What may be outstanding news: LSI getting ready to go the next generation G12: techweb.com Key part which is outstanding IMO: to shepherd new mixed-signal technologies that were once thought to be outside the realm of CMOS. This opens a huge area up for LSI and gives LSI a distinct advantage over companies that can't integrate the analog with the digital. LSI's GSM chip is a good example I think. Analog expertise is also a good barrier to entry I think - digital is a dime a dozen, analog is a dollar a dozen. Shane.
