Henry, I do not understand you. On the one hand , you say you believe there is no hell. Then you turn around in the same post and say IF there is a hell, it is being denied Gods presence. Ok, I can go with that. What do you think happens when one is denied Gods presence? Is God light? What is the opposite of light? Have you ever been down in the ground in a cave such as Mammoth Cave or Carlsbad Caverns? Years ago at Carlsbad, they would guide you in so far then sit you down and instruct you not to move. Then they would shut down the lights. No matter how hard you tryed or how long you set there you could not see your hand if you put it within 1/4 inch of your face. NO LIGHT AT ALL!! It was scary because you also start getting a little unbalanced with no reference points. Is that where anyone would choose for eternity, instead of a place where there is no night(and no need for the sun) because the presence of God will light it? Even without thinking about the possibilities of "fire and brimstone" just the separation from God is too heavy a thought... dcf
