Lisa,

NAZ implemented some new rules recently and the spread on these "biggest of the big" are much tighter. Ususally 1/16, or 1/8 is what I found at random times I check them. The rules will filter down to most all stocks over time. Take a look and see what I mean.

As far as other, I was being conservative mentioning 3/4 on UNPH, or MCRL or CIEN, or CYMI. I've seen them on these stocks as large as your mentioned: 1 1/2. I laugh and just keep moving along. Bidding market with this kind of spread is just plain insanity. But....folks do it.

If you've read the dialog between Davep and I about this, he feels that NAZ has generally tighter spread than NYSE and better executions. I was responding to him with my thoughts, and I think that article in Forbes was "right on".

We've probably spent too much time on this, so I'm going to let it fade into the sunset...... and get back to oil.

Hope the cartel has something good to report. I am sure someone will posts some early rumblings as soon as they can...

Regards,
