Dear Duke....(I just love that name, the original Duke was and is my hero (John Wayne), now about Trimble: I am an airline pilot and a bush pilot. For navigation I have been using GPS since it became active, before that it was Loran and before that it was the map in the lap routine and before that it was the iron compass (railroad tracks). Being new to the market, about 2 years, I had some rollover money (kids education) to invest. Talking with brokers, knowledge professional people and doing a ton of research myself decided on the GPS future. Having used Trimble nav. tools, and believe me when I tell you they are extremely accurate, I decided to buy the company. I will hold on for the long haul, I can't back out now without a major loss. AND yes I do believe in the company, what gauls me is the lack of communications and and lack of PUSH. I think the ideal situation would be for Trimble to be bought out by a more aggressive company.
