Franz,

Do you think the article was published without Jobs' permission?

Based on the article, Jobs approached BOD twice, one in last December,
another one in recent week. Well, he surely has seen Q1 results in
December before approaching to BOD and asking for CEO job. Again,
he surely knew what will be like in Q2, hence he talked with BOD
for CEO title. My point here is trying to establish the Q2 outlook
from the timing Jobs asked for the title. Without an excellent
quarter, he won't be able to determine his stay as CEO or even an
interim one. Therefore, it's quite clear there is another evdience
that Q2 outlook is absolutely outstanding. It's also quite clever
that IBM uses G3's to have Jobs hooked with Apple.
