Were I as rich as W. Buffett, I'd buy TAVA so I'd have inside knowledge of what companies are going to fail, but which have valuable franchises. I'd separate those that can be salvaged from those that are going into the dust bin, and then I'd make them an offer. Give me lots of cv pfd. with warrants attached, and I'll come do the salvage job. Then I'd hire a PR firm and end up as Time's Person of the Year for being such a nice guy and saving all those companies from perdition. Guess I've sipped too much brandy tonight.
