Dear FastPath, welcome to your first posting on SI ! I think people on this thread would love your contribution in the future, you sound very knowledgeable about networking products. Yes, you are correct, CB3500 only do 3.5 mpps - I remembered it wrong. The main question I was trying to ask was does BAY has a next generation Layer-3 switch in the work (they must have but most probably not announced yet) ? People maybe slow to accept the Accelar technology right now because they can't see a clear upgrade path in the near future. Do you mean Extreme has some relationship with 3com ? I happen to think Extreme has some really good product to offer too. I'm not a networker, I just buy and sell stocks !! Again, welcome onboard ! (why am I saying this ? I don't even have a position in BAY !) Mang
