Bill -

Welcome to the thread, your research and views are certainly a welcome addition to our (exceedingly small) group of interested posters. I did get some feedback from one of the guys on the Ames thread who said (by my recollection) he thinks it will be up to the lending bank (Chase) to determine whether new stock is issued or not, and that it mainly depends on whether Bradlees is able to satisfy the conditions of repayment etc...
Unfortunately, he sent it to me in a private message and I thought I saved it in my clipboard before trashing the message, but apparently didn't :( I had planned to repost the salient points of the message here. I will contact him again and ask if he can repost his message direct to this thread as I think he had some excellent suggestions for helping do DD and understand the possibilities.
