Silc, Not a short-term problem but there will be a classic buying opportunity in the next couple of months? Looks like we have different definitions of "short-term".

Just came back from visiting my local Office Max. The low end Compaq is alive and well at $499. No mention of a free monitor. Other models at $899, $1299, and $1899. Not able to remember exact model numbers or names. Lots of people looking at the $499, which looked like my VCR. 166MH with 16meg. No mention of software, etc.
