Yes, turns are violent and for the most part unpredictible. From here you are likely to double or triple your money once it moves up, but you could also see your investment fall 50% from these levels. This stock, and many in the sector should take off once the Asia and especially Korea, is in a position to fund their orders, but until then they will probably continue to trend listlessly or downward.

IMO KLIC could revisit 16-17 before going to 50...but it will most likely hit 50 in the next three years, and possibly in the next year if asia rebounds quickly. I'm not that good at predicting when that will be...so it makes sense to buy a portion of your ultimate position at these levels and bear with it until it turns.
