Soros, awesome post, you are exactly right, America is in a steep decline, morally and spiritually. It has become such a slow slippery decline, most people are complete unaware of the level of decline surrounding them. Every empire in history has fallen when the level of corruption and immorality caused the system to fall apart at the seams. I also believe that the church is lulled into complacency and this invites a similar takeover that happened in Hitler's time and this is why I think the study of that period will inform and equip us for what is to come. As to Noah, there is evidence that the Hale-Bopp comet last passed thru our solar system in the time of Noah. In the time of Noah, the ones that were taken away were the masses killed in the flood. I'm not so sure that the rapture is a convoluted interpretation invented by the forces of evil to deceive the church into complacency. This is the instant gratification generation that somehow thinks God is going to push his remote control and zap all the problems away. He didn't rapture the sons and daughters of Abraham from out of the pharoahs control, they had to suffer. He didn't rapture the pilgrims from under the King's control, they also had to work for their freedom. Is God's plan to treat this generation of man any differently? God bless, bobby
