Dennis, Flip a coin! Let's just hope it doesn't land on its' edge! Hard to say, I believe the Carl Johnson article was right on the money and have believed that since early Oct. I really want to believe everything will be alright short term but circumstances indicate otherwise. AMAT has given guidance of decreased earnings for the next few quarters and are "guardedly optimistic", but the Japan "wild card" is still in the deck and could appear at any time to change both the bullish and bearish position. I have maintained that 98 will closely replicate '96 concerning earnings and orders and the charts (on Gottfrieds' chart site) will follow the same trend, IMO. geocities.com BB
