On planning ahead ... and all that glitters

TT, the POG has broken above the 300 threshold, gold and related stocks have shown technical strength, but the same cannot be said for BGO. Long ago we discussed how the fundamentals that motivated holding BGO as an investment had changed, although I've not followed it for sometime. Nevertheless recent price action of BGO suggests the Street is not convinced that the situation has improved.

For those holding BGO ... might be beneficial to sell BGO now to offset other gains. BGO is going nowhere fast, if the story should improve one can always re-enter after the 30-day wash sale rule is satisfied. My sense is that during that interim of time, BGO will be plus or minus 1/2 point from its base. And should BGO break out on hype, it will retrace down ... price action will probably not be much different than NINE.

Never ever. Now you take care, my dear.
