Well, yes, the big innocent kitten eyes would be suitable for your fine, fine recipe. I am personally rapidly running out of eggs of any kind, but the farmer's market here sells fertilized eggs from chickens, ducks, quail and geese. I say if you are going to serve fertilized deviled eggs, they should be just as large as possible for full effect. It is too bad I did not collect some dinosaur eggs during my childhood, for now they have become suddenly extinct. Well, we know already that phallic vegetables are the choice of Satanists everywhere. But are any of them really in season yet? Some of us did recently have a nice sensual romp in a fennel field, however, and I am proud to present a recipe from that debauchery: Ragout of Potatoes and Fennel Greens 6 boiling potatoes 2 T olive oil 1/2 onion, chopped 2 c. chicken broth 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper 6 c. wild fennel greens, or cultivated fennel greens + 1/4 tsp. fennel seeds Cut the potatoes into quarters, peeling or not according to your personal preference. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan large enough to eventually hold the potatoes and fennel. Add the onion and saute until translucent, about 2 or 3 minutes. Add the potatoes, and saute for 2 or 3 minutes, turning often. Add the chicken broth and bay leaf, then stir in the salt and pepper. Add the fennel and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer until the potatoes are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Ladle into serving bowls. This could not be good for her! Shall we disrupt her musings and openly seek her advice?Message 3789813
