Optician 1 :

Regarding to your comment on Barb, you have right to pick up whatever you want to read for whatever reason. I just want to share with others that I think Barb's input to this thread is valuable. At least to myself, after the CC, I changed my mind from positive to negative, and with Barb's showing she had the same feeling, I decided to get rid of ALL the FIBR which at least for this short period of time, is helping me to save a lot of money.

Has anyone else heard rumors of the multi billion dollar company being NEC? I read it some where on another board can't remember where. I posted this before but never saw it come through. Is there a way to post other than a response to one posting?

Well Optician1, I think what you've proven is that you can't stand anyone with a point of view other than your own. Of course, the market doesn't agree with you either, as Osicom's price has dropped over 30% since the conference call, and in the middle of a raging bull market. You can attempt to malign my business acumen, but the fact of the matter is that I heard the conference call the same way that the market did. You claim that I am supplying misinformation, but that is untrue. It is those on the bullish side that are supplying the misinformation, and attempting to hype people by appealing to their greed.

Some of your questions:

>>>The conference call answered the revenue and margin question for top 3 products today and for prospective yearend. <<<

Funny I don't recall that, I recall them not having a clue.

>>>The new board member annoucement can be expected (why announce when the Board hasn't met to approve the person.....not exactly legal either<<<

That is not the way it was worded in the conference call. We were told that it would give away the multi billion dollar mystery partner were it revealed. Your premise is good, but it's like those that defend the issuance of shares beyond the former 20 million limit. The problem is not that Osicom issued the shares, it is that they said that they would not do so in the 12/4/97 conference call. I call what they did misleading at best, an outright lie at worst.

>>>On share buy-back with all you shortheads around why give information unless asked (it wasn't asked).<<<

Because they announced it. I don't know why the question wasn't asked. I didn't ask because it seemed to me that it would be a question that would be asked, I was shocked when it wasn't.

>>>NMS told everyone including FIBR not to comment on their submissions...you know it, I know it, some drop the BS<<<

No, I do not know that. Osicom has told us it was their lawyers that told them not to comment. The fact is that the application has been before the NMS since 9/96, that's 1 1/2 years, and many companies have applied and been accepted in that time frame. I think it's you that needs to drop the BS, and realize that it's not going to happen.

>>>You can't be this stupid....so you are trying to scare others.<<<

Others should be scared if they're long this company.

>>>I think you have nothing to add so from here I am selecting the next message key when I see your name.<<<

No problem, but if you make specious assertions as you did in the post to which I'm replying, I'll be answering. Have fun with your head stuck in the sand.

>>>Actually, you represent the average quality of this board so go back to your screens and models. There is too much mis-information from you and your pals like Crawford to waste investors time here.<<<

You really should go back to last summer and see how well craig and I got along. craig is not my pal. The fact is that this short has nothing to do with screens and models, it is a fundamentally driven short position. Osicom is overpriced here, in my opinion. But of course you're right, anything that is not a rah rah long hype statement is obviously a waste of time (that was sarcastic, if you didn't grasp it).

>>NMS told everyone including FIBR not to comment on their submissions...you know it, I know it, some drop the BS<<

Wrong! According to information presented by Par himself during the first shareholder meeting last year (the one that didn't have a quorum so had to be rescheduled), Osicom was not commenting on the NMS situation because lawyers representing Osicom had given that advise to Osicom. Nothing was said about NMS telling FIBR not to comment. Clean your glasses, buddy.
