The increase of 60,000 shares in the short position at March 15, 1998 is actually very small considering that PYT traded about 2,000,000 in the first 2 weeks of March. It works out to only 3%.

It is bad news for short term traders who expected the shorts to be squeezed. They obviously do not need to worry about such a small number of shares.

Having already dropped more than $ 2.00 from the high on Tuesday, and without interference from the shorts, it is likely that the stock will consolidate around the $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 range, giving momentum players a chance to get out and play somewhere else while long term investors will move in. One must remember that the float is so small that it will NOT attract institutions or mutual funds. These guys and gals simply are not interested in tight floats, regardless of merit.

All Pyng needs to do over the next few weeks is to attract 1,000 investors each investing about $ 10,000.00, buying 3,000 shares for the long term and just forget about the ups and downs for a while. Let management continue to attract the attention of the medical communities while deciding the best ways to maximize profits and shareholders value for the long term.

I agree with a previous poster that, considering the potential large production volume needed, it may be beneficial to contract out the manufacturing aspect of the operation while keeping the research, development, sales and marketing under the control of Pyng. It would eliminate the need for additional equity financing to build and equip a manufacturing facility. Usual short-term bank financing could easily be obtained to finance receivables, avoiding further dilution.

In any case, my point is to forget the .10 or .25 daily fluctuations for now if you are a long term investor. Do not worry or lose sleep about a "resistance point" at 4.50 or "support" at 3.25 or whatever: it is totally meaningless in the big picture.

Good Luck to all and have a very nice day.
