Good info Dave...and perhaps FTEL can sell the DVG's to TCI
just for the heck of it :-) Not only is TCI going to enter
the telephone market -- but I know that Cox cable is planning
to enter the local phone market (& beyond) here on the east coast as well. I can't wait to see Bell Atlantic chewed up and spit out :-)
I bet they will offer "one-bill" incentives/discounts/convenience etc.
______________
Merger talks between two high-speed Internet services have been
tabled. The cable-TV owned. At-Home Corp. and Time-Warner's Road
Runner have been unable to agree on valuation terms and other
issues, according to The Wall Street Journal. AT&T also reported
in discussions to make an investment in At-Home is said to still
be considering that option.

Meanwhile, the Journal said At-Home partner Tele-Communications
Inc. Tele-Communications Inc. is supporting another cable industry
alliance targeted at competing against the regional Bell telephone
companies. TCI wants to set up an Internet phone company, to use
the cable networks to handle phone calls, the Journal said. One
cable company executive is quoted saying, "This would be a
declaration of war" on the local telcos.

David, I liked your post, and I valued the links to co-location, but I am still very concerned about sales at FTEL and follow-through.

David D. Thanks But you left out The LaunchingPad.Com the place where all the links in that post can be found.

launchingpad.com

Now with 40+ new links for industry research as well as our next company profiled - DGIV!!! Look for several more profiles to opened in the ensueing weeks as this sector grows, so does the LaunchingPad!

I always love when someone finds a post of mine worthy of a re-post<GGGG>.

Interesting how few people are still picking up on the Benefits of co-Location, isn't it? I mean EarthLink collocates themselves from 8.50-58.50 in less then a year, but people still wonder if Co-location with WorldCom is really a 'Big' deal. Here's a thought I didn't add to the original post:

Can anyone answer what is the means for transporting Internet Telephony phone calls? Isn't it the Internet? And which company after merging with another will have a virtual Stranglehold on the Internet? Wouldn't that be WorldCom/MCI? Well if people understand and pick up on the significance of collocation by WorldCom, they would be picking up more shares, right now. But as we have seen, the detractors have all shown a blatant an obvious ignorance of this industry and the future of it, and that is fine. I just keep buying and by the time the rest of the world understands what CoLocation can do for a company, I'll already be retired!

<<GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG>>

Got to love the Market!
