No Is NOT clear. There is that clear? Willey was working for the government, as a volunteer- technically I think she would be covered by sexual harassment in the workplace. If these accusations are true, and I have no opinion, until the evidence comes out, then Clinton engaged in a pattern of workplace harassment (not assault).

(I wasn't arguing with you about assault- couldn't you tell that? I certainly didn't mention assault)

Ignacio, you are shouting! Why? I think we are all perfectly willing to suspend judgment until more of the facts are known. Of course when a person has a PATTERN of sexually predatory behavior, there is more of an implication that these things may be true.

But this is not a court of law. Because the President is a public figure he is fair game for our discussion. Willey was definitely an employee of Clinton, working as a White House volunteer, and asking for a paid position.

But finally, how do you know that no assault took place? None of us does, either way. That I cannot understand.

Christine

Ignacio, this morning on Face the Nation, Patricia Ireland of NOW stated that she considers it an ASSAULT if President Clinton forced Willey's hands on his genitals. There is a huge debate on the Sunday news shows between several feminist leaders about all the issues we have been discussing, but certainly Ireland's views are significant.
