GP: C-Cube is really counting on DVD aren't they! LSI does not get mentioned in the same breath because they are much more diversified. At least that's why I hope they are not mentioned in the same breath! LSI's solution: lsilogic.com LSI has also gone a step further by incorporating the decoder with a lot of the peripheral stuff. For instance see: lsilogic.com and as an example: lsilogic.com ---- On CRUS competing with LSI I actually think there will be several players in this arena. LSI if they are very very good will get I would guess no more than 20% of the market. So I think the entrance of new competition is expected and probably factored in. I would like to see exactly what the CRUS chip does. Right now LSI is in their 2nd generation of DVD chips I think and have had the experience of 2+ years developing and selling these chips. So that must hopefully translate into some sort of lead. I think the LSI DVD chip is well regarded. ---- Shane.
