Has 3COM warned? I recall only the INTC, MOT, BAY warnings.

If 3COM misses the number on Monday, what will be the magnitude of any downside influence of this on ASND?

If 3COM hits no effect?

If 3COM beats (which I doubt) upside influence on ASND?

I am puzzled as to why TA on the thread justifies bearishness for ASND into the high twenties when some TA had us going the other way less than 2 weeks ago? Surely company fundamentals haven't flip-flopped that much in so short a time. The market hasn't. In fact, if the CEO (M.E.)says we are on target to make the number for the Q (as Dennis Duke has reiterated via IR) so why should we be bearish? ASND is not overbought/overvalued, its oversold/undervalued, if anything. If the shorts are going after this stock, won't they regret it (cover) if we make the Q? I don't think that in the long term, the shorts and options parity (pinning the stock at 30, 35, etc.) can mean more than company fundamentals, and meeting or beating earnings estimates, or demonstrated corporate growth (whose probability should be as good as it was 2 weeks ago). The long term trend for this or any other stock is maintained by company and market fundamentals.

Comments? Are we out of the loop somehow on what other heavy hitters might be privy to?
