Bob: You are wise to be careful in what you accept. I have always believed that the only way to be deceived is to be absolutely sure. If you have the opportunity to visit a Messianic congregation, try it. There is nothing more beautiful in the body of Christ than to fellowship with Jewish believers. I am sure about the name of Yeshua being his Hebrew name, and that Jesus worshipped God in a Jewish context when he was on earth. I do not mean to put down any Church group. I have always felt that the only truths we have, are the truths we have in common. I continue to encourage you to ask God to show you a fellowship where your gifts are needed. If it is somehow lacking, (as most are, Rev. 2 & 3) then perhaps you can be of help to God at setting things straight. With love, DLL
