Larry<<I think I'll stay on the sidelines of this one. I had one inscrutable ancestor of note that fought on both sides of the War of the Rebellion. That is, he fought for the South for a while, then got a better offer from the North. What can I say? I come from a line of money-grubbers who sold their soul to the high bidder.>>
Don't try to get on our good side with claims like this. These attributes aren't necessarily passed on with the genes. Further, for all we know you come from a long line of humanitarians. On this thread we expect you to be a money-grubber who would sell your soul to the highest bidder, not merely claim a good pedigree. So far though I have to admit you meet all standards.

Larry,
Re:Ancestor that fought on both sides.
With character like that, we may be kin. There is a tale in my family of and 'outlaw' hick that had his gang surrounded by a posse. When it got down to my ancestor and 1 partner, he shot his partner and hollered, "Come on in, boys, I got the last SOB".
