A castrated PII system is a computer without any L2 cache. This is worst than a Pentium MMX system. I would be surprised if Compaq and IBM refused to build a system around the Celeron. By the way Brian just posted an article stating that the K6 computers outsold the PII. Compared to a year ago when you were bitching that AMD couldn't sell K6 to tier 1, AMD is doing a terrific job. Now that you are bitching that AMD is not making any money. A year from now you will be bitching that you losed all your money shorting AMD and should have bought some AMD. Maxwell
